Not exactly metal, but one of my favourite albums, and has been covered many many times by metal bands, so by some degree of separation, i still think this belongs here. Outsider, psych rock legend and tragic figure.

After couple of days and spins I can definitely say that the new Neurosis is in my personal aoty race, such a solid record.

Nice one @Freeman - but do be careful burning churches wearing Crocs - they're flammable

Slayer is doing a 40th anniversary tour with Down and Suicidal Tendencies. I’ve seen all three bands at different times, Slayer was actually my second show (after tool) in 1993 when I was 13. I was pressed up against the barrier between the band and the mosh pit the whole performance. I’d really like to relive that experience but tickets are $170 and can’t seem to convince the wife it’s worth $300+. I might end of going alone

@Tago-Mago I get it bro. I last saw
Lombardo with Mr Bungle. Top 10 drummer for me. For me when a band member dies it doesn’t feel as odd as when they leave the due to differences or conflicts.
