Hey @Giles the beast maker or other campus boards are perfect for conditioning fingers for climbing. Emil (from your video) is a unit! He's only about 80kg and he's a very serious contender in some strongmen grip competitions - way above his weight class.
However, it is important to start bodyweight exercise on small ledges only after some time of conditioning.

Trying to keep the level up on my rowing machine. After storming through January, with a few days off in February, I managed to complete March with 26 days out of 31.
Weight has steadied at 92kgs on average, still aiming for under 90. My posture has improved considerably, and I feel way better. I hope maintain that throughout the year!

Lumbar spondylosis prevents me from doing squats, so this will have to do.
