I needed to do a quick pocket bag repair on my 720s (nothing major, just reinforcing the secondary stitching at the bottom of one of the back pockets) and noticed the contrast between the whipcord upper pocket lining (vertically oriented in the second pic) and the outer surface of the pants. Admittedly it’s quite subtle, but it made me happy and shows even non-fading fabrics give something back if you give them enough time.

@Northman thanks! They are much different than when they were new. Softer, more pliable, molded to my lower half.

Beside the initial wash for shrinkage I believe around 6? Maybe 7 washes. Could be more or less. I just washed them when they were obviously dirty or smelly.
