Great show, with the late Robert Redford and George RR Martin doing a cameo on ep1s03. Season 4 just started. 100% native American writers room.

@Davids_denim right, but with a different set of characters and plot. There’s one or two cameos but they don’t play the same people. Colin Robinson from What We Do In The Shadows is in it and he’s the best.

Rainy Saturday and Sunday had us tucked away at home over the weekend. Binged all of “One Piece” with the family and everyone from the 9 year old, to mom and dad, loved it.

Edit: the live action Netflix rendition… pretty sure it would not be possible to watch the entire anime in a month

Scrubs. Loved the original show so much. Less said about the follow up series they did. But the return has been fantastic (if you like this ilk of silly humour). Writing is on par with the old stuff - even if it's obviously missing a lot of the original characters. Still does that thing where it's daft funny and then suddenly deeply emotional. Happy that I'm not laughing out loud because of nostalgia alone.

Mrs H and I are halfway through Mr Inbetween. Highly recommend. It's on Disney+ in the UK.

The plot follows a small-time hitman, called Ray, in Australia as he balances his private life and his criminal activities.

Episodes are short by today's standards, coming in at a punchy 25-30 minutes each. No scenes are wasted, even if some contain very little dialogue.

The writing is very well honed and natural, with little scenes of Ray bantering with his girlfriend while he brushes his teeth, for example, showing the deepening of their relationship more than any sort of over-the-top gesture of love ever could. I particularly look forward to the scenes where Ray is in his court-mandated anger-management workshops, which pit Ray's common sense understanding of the world and violence against the idealism of the psychologist.

It has some dark comedy, which mostly arises from the situations Ray finds himself in at the requests of his mates or the demands of his family. There's some excellent catharsis to be had in watching Ray deliver some comeuppance to the everyday assholes he encounters (kicking the bollocks almost off the young man who knocked his daughter's ice-cream out of her hands on the street is shown in the trailers, and is what lands him in anger management classes in the first place).

Anyway, we're loving it, it's a quick watch, none of your time will be wasted on this one.

                                          Edit: found a trailer
