I do not have the original sample. and yes that is correct, we initially took very few (just the balance of the minimum run to help Pronto out) and also yes we took some back from Pronto too, because for some unknown reason, they were not all that popular in Thailand.....

The OG 25oz sells like crack but the II, just did not work...

Question: is this cut closer to a 777 than any other cut?

@yannis I’ve always felt that the Pronto cut was the closest IH comes to Levi’s 501s. Others might differ with me on this one.

@Jett129. Thanks!. I am not familiar with the 501's.There is a sample tag 40 on this thread and looking at the measurements the closest I can come to is the 777. I am obviously trying to see that IH cut that are they based on.

They are not based on any of our cuts, Pronto came up with their own cut, but yes, probably closest to the 777.

Pronto does different cuts. I have the tapered cut in the 10th anniversary and it’s very much like a 777 I know that denim came in a straight cut as well. I’m not sure if this one came in both but the straight version is probably more like a 501 like @Jett129 said. The 15th anniversary was an 888.

@Matt yes is came in a straigh cut also and it appears closer to a 666. Kinda like a slim straight.

I had actually thought about that when I,originally,made the post. I have zero knowledge of how current 501s are cut,so I’d be basing my response on the 70s to the early 2000s when I last wore them. My response is also based on my perception of Pronto’s rise,thighs,and leg opening compared to how I think my 501s used to fit. Take that with a very big grain of salt.

From the 70's through the 2000's there were the 66 (which is what the IH-634 is based upon), the 78, the 83, then I lose interest......

Pronto does/did do different cuts, but the "pronto cut" is designed by them, all the other releases were based on one of our core jeans.

They’re still out there.. Brand new, just waiting.. Even 10 years later..!! I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.. What a thrill. Now if I could just find a pair of PIH5DCS in this condition in a 33-34 I could finally put my quest to rest. I’ll just continue begging the cosmos and who knows.. They’ve delivered thus far. Just takes a little while

This model was the first pair of 25oz I remember getting hands on when I started at IH and thinking "what the fuck!" - wish I'd got a pair to this day
