I got a Manifattura Ceccarelli trek jacket and liner this season and it has been a game changer. I live in it.

One of the things I didn't know I needed was big pockets. I can put a book in the pocket as well as keep my hands toasty. As a result, I carry a book everywhere now and have been reading a lot this winter.

@Matt 1000%. I picked up an old Drybak Mackinaw last fall while on a trip to NYC, and the chest pockets were so confortable to hold my arms up while resting my hands for warmth. Underated setup on a coat.

I disagree.. unless there are handwarmer pockets further down. I have a Manifatura Ceccarelli Fisherman Parka with impossible high and odly shaped handwarmer pockets. Feel like a T-Rex with broken wrists when using them. Spoils most of their otherwise near perfect coats for me...

@Tobi I have the same coat and I think they’re usable mobility wise, just a little shallow. Could be how it’s sized though. The fit on my parka is fairly generous.

I’d suggest swapping the nickel-colored screws, nuts and bolts for black (or dark brown) ones. I think it’ll only look nicer!

Could be a cool idea - I want to look at an engineer boot next, I will throw some ideas around on here.
