@hgering27 I’m glad to hear that! I’ve wanted one of these for a long time and finally got one. I love their tshirts and I’m looking forward to wearing this. Unfortunately I didn’t order it before this cold storm that hit Texas. Only time it’s below freezing here.

First wear with the Guthries. These are 38W, hemmed to a 36 inch inseam. I’m a cuffer, and I’m really hoping that does not mean something else.
Overall, I think they fit really well. Not too tight in the thigh, with plenty of room in the top block. Definitely the kind of pant that is going to feel better every time you wear it. Also, with it being 20 degrees out, they are pretty damn cozy too.

Yeah, but I think in practice it wears completely different. From the crotch to the outside of the leg, it is much wider(14” unwashed)even though it measures 13 inches(on the chart) that measurement is far enough down that it does not feel tight at all.
The caveat to all of this is that everybody’s body is different. Even if two people have similar measurements, their thighs and waist can sit differently. Some people taper more, some carry muscle higher up, whatever it is. I am probably not saying it perfectly, but the point is they fit well for me.

My female body is very different than most everyone wearing menswear, in any case.
14” in a 38 is still a super-skinny thigh measurement for a work pant, imo.

I washed my sashiko hat last night. First wash since I purchased it in 2024. Boy was that water filthy. I’ll spare that pic haha

I wear a 38 in all of my 21 oz IH 666s.
36w 666 25oz XHS and 36 in the 1955 16oz slubby
The waist is a little bigger on these, but this may sound crazy to some but I cold machine washed on low spin and then dried them in the machine to about 70 percent then hung dry. I think a 36 probably could’ve fit would but might be too slim. I have some room in these but they're not overly big.

@northsouthdenimguy Thank you. Good feedback, I was glad to see him do another release pre-order so I could grab a pair. This will be a good addition to my pants. I'm really only trying to buy 1-2 pants a year, and 4-5 shirts/jackets at most. Anything else just feels like over consumption.

@Mizmazzle It shrunk down again, and it significantly changed shape from when it was new. It is essentially custom fit to my head. Really makes me want to try and get a Sashiko Townes shirt.
@ZackB Thanks dude! I’m thinking of finding a backup. It’s my favorite hat ever. I’m a daily hat guy always looking for the next best hat. I was really hoping they were going to do a run in black sashiko. I asked Mike in an IG Live and he said he couldn’t source enough material for a hat run, unfortunately.
