@Oaktavia thanks man! Trying to build my faded arsenal, one piece at a time. I realized I made a detailed post on IG, but not here.

I pretty much wore each indigo/black for a year straight. I only washed once at the one year mark. When I move on to another piece to fade, I semi-retire the previous one. I’ve worn the 21ib a handful of times since I washed them, but the XHSib has been stored away while I worked on the SBG. But now all three are stored away so I can focus on the 633 Self Edge collab for the II.

@Oaktavia yea, I’m trying to be more active on posting updates here and on IG. While I was making the post, I couldn’t help but notice that the whiskers and honeycombs are pretty consistent on all three pairs. Then coincidentally, I saw someone else’s post on IG mentioning that fades could be unique fingerprints to us. I thought the at was pretty cool.

@caithangkhanh Fades are very unique to each wearer and some people in the game can figure out whose pair of jeans are just by the fades and whiskers. Giles has mentioned before that people knew they were his jeans without any identifiers saying they were his.

When XHS restocked the 888 cut was the last one to drop, so is it safe to assume this would be the last cut to drop for XHSib?

I am sooooo torn about going 777 or 888, I have 6 pairs of 777, no 888 just the 502 which are similar cut, but really want the higher rise, dont think I need the bigger thighs but its not a huge difference between the two.

Anyone made the switch from 777 to 888 and have insights?

It is mostly a rise difference for me. I prefer the 888 over the 777, anything with a lower rise than a 634 I just can't do anymore. I absolutely love the extra room the 888 provides. They are just so comfortable and I don't have to worry about squishing anything.

There isn't a ton of extra room in the thighs and what is there helps with comfort and mobility.

@Oaktavia yeah there is the squishing and also lately I have noticed I get a mean plumbers crack if I tie my shoes haha, will see maybe I can try some on somewhere locally before this releases

@Ikeaparty definitely worth trying out, especially if you can try them on first. I will never be buying a 777 again after trying 888 and 634.

@Oaktavia high rise is the best. I wish IH would make a cut similar to the classic Levis 517 bootcut. It's all I used to wear for years. I think they might have had something like that a long time ago I saw, but I forgot the the model number. High rise all the way.
