IH-888-XHSib - 25oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Ind/blk

I’m planning to buy a pair of these when they come out and I’m wondering if I should go with a 36 or 35. I’m currently rocking the 888UHR in a 36 and they fit great, enough room that if I was buying them again I’d maybe go with 35. I’m wondering if the shrinkage after washing these is similar to the shrinkage for the UHR. Should I size down in the XHS or stick with 36 because of the thicker/stiffer fabric and maybe not shrinking as much with a wash? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The updated measurements will be up after they arrive. I ordered my exact true waist for my XHS(indigo). After their first wash a few days ago they buttoned up snug but relaxed very fast.(Less than a day) Just chat with IH on the chat feature tomorrow. More help than me!

@nic.drost for what it's worth I'm a size 35 in the UHR and XHS and the XHS fit bigger, but if also worn them a ton, while my UHR are basically brand new.

No updates no heads up re restock, I understand...

eagerly awaiting the drop of these aswell! doing all sorts of math to make sure I get it right the first time

recently sold off my 555xhsib and a pair of 555s that I sized too small on. so I have the extra funds ready for these! (and quite possibly another pair of wescos
)555 and 888 are quite different cuts. You can not have both of them fitting like a glove in the same size tag

@Yoprst true, I have a pair of 634, 555, and 888 at the moment all for different fits. I like how these have a higher rise and smaller leg opening than the 634 but they aren't too restrictive. 555's are definitely my cut when sized right but I like the extra room sometimes.
currently I just have the 888 in 14oz OD in a tag size 34. they measure almost exactly what the size guide shows for tag 32 in these xhsib. so i'm planning on a tag 32 for this drop depending on if the measurements for this run work out. possibly 31 but I'd rather err on the side of caution
