Why is the patch stiched?

The patch is the same as the patches on all our lightweight jeans - when this cut is made in heavier denim, a heavier patch with embossed graphics will be used (like on all our heavyweight jeans)

@888, @the246guy It's easy to answer, because that's what we wanted. We think the 14 oz patch design with red lettering on thinner leather goes well with 16 oz denim and has a long tradition in the jeans industry. Like Alex said, the patch and material will be adjusted later if this cut is available in 21 oz denim, for example. Of course, it will then no longer be made of thinner leather with red lettering, but will be embossed.
And the tiger design is ultimately a matter of taste, and you can never please everyone. A sumo wrestler might be good for baggy jeans, but I doubt Iron Heart will ever make them.

Interesting how we all see things differently. I really like the patch design and the thinner material used on these.

(I actually find the thick IH patch a bit “too much”, although I realise this may be an unpopular opinion.)

Will this have a 36 length compared to the usual 34 length that all the 634's are made of?

I just opened 15 random 634s and all were between 35.0 and 37.0" inseam. Sometimes the IH-634S has a 34 inseam when we get Japan stock, thats about it...

I love my 888s and live in them but lately have been bored and dying to try a new cut. These cant come soon enough, I’m very psyched.
I am also tempted to buy the smallest waist size for my daughter Millie as she loves wide cuts.

That sounds great, and I'm sure your daughter will love these jeans. The new/young generation almost exclusively wears wide jeans these days.
