IH-634-XHSib - 25oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo/Black

Got my alarms set for weds, hyped snag pair of these for the future. Looks like Been while since these have been released.
-
Looks like these aren't gonna work for me after all. Would be swimming in the 38, and the 36 would be uncomfortably tight in the waist. (Word on the street is there isn't much difference in tag sizes for this batch. At least for Tag 36.)
One day there will be a dedicated Tag 37 sneaking into the line-up. One day...!

@nurunuru a reminder that if something isn’t working for you measurement wise to drop a note to the IHUK crew once the product drops for release. They can often find something that may be closer to your ideal.

Cheers. I emailed 'em already. Very quick response. Just doesn't look like this batch'll work for me.

Something to keep in mind my indigo 634 XHS shrank 5 cm in the inseam in a 60 degree C wash.
From the website:- However, unlike most of our jeans, we have not washed the completed garment in an industrial washing machine, so some shrinkage remains
-
@Hohba01 They will obviously shrink more when you’re washing them at 60 degrees which you don’t really need to, unless you’re after that excessive shrinkage but then you’re also risking warping/torquing at the seams
-
Dang. The updated product pics make this new batch look absolutely phenomenal. The indigo is so. flippin'. dark! Gah! Maybe I could somehow make the sizing work if I wore 'em raw (well... sanforized) for a while and then only washed 'em cold. I'd need about an inch of stretch in the waist. People have done more than that with XHS, right?!
-
(OK... With the thickness of the fabric, I might need more like 1 1/4" of stretch in the waist...
) -
Cheers @sabergirl . Appreciate your take on it.
The pics, as I say, are really making this new batch look great.

Little bit of a Jean crisis lol. Been really digging the slight taper on my 633 XHS, but also going back to my 634 UHRs after IIY5. And at first the taper was little weird get used to, first few days. So I’m Kinda torn if should wait and see if the 666s come out soon in the XHSib. Anyone have Bothr thr 666s and 634s? I don’t think would like the lower rise? Most likely will end up with these, I’m just making it way harder on myself lol. Plus wouldn’t really be wearing till this time next year.

@pechelman
Oh sick thank you for the info, got some thinking to do lol. Self edge doesn’t carry the 666 cut so can’t try on. I’m a big fan of the 634s but kinda wanna try new cut. And this is assuming the 666s get release in XHS ib near future -
For me my 666 UHR are slightly short in the rear rise, as they have less of a natural slope compared to my 633/634 XHS.
I was wearing a pair of 634S-B’s size 40, and they got a little tight in the waist so I purchased a 634 XHS size 42. I figured going up a few ounces justified a size up, to make the break in easier. Those fit great in the waist, everywhere else was way too baggy.
After asking on here the consensus was made that I either need a 634 size 40 with a larger waist measurement, or a slimmer cut size 42.
Purchased a pair of 666 UHR size 42 and they are basically “painted on”. The rear rise also doesn’t do it for me, as stated above. They are always sliding down, and they are by no means loose.
Currently i’m wearing a 633 XHS size 40 and they are great. They have a slightly larger waist measurement, without all that extra bagginess the 634 size 42 had.
