…on the flip side of that, I’ve had chipmunks run across my feet as I’ve set in the stand and red tailed hawks land on branches next to my head. It’s always amazing to just sit there and observe nature. So much goes on around us when we just sit there quietly.

There have been sightings near our farm and I’m always thinking I’m going to see one (mountain lions too) And you’re absolutely right about what you can see when you just observe. It’s my favorite thing… just seeing all the critters and plants and sunsets and sunrises…pretty much the main reason I even get out.

A day or two late but we spent Saturday at our daughter Millie’s dojo for her black belt test in Krav Maga. After a 6 hour marathon of striking, defense, running, and other challenges she passed the test! She is one of the youngest to graduate from her dojo and we couldnt be more proud!
