        @anodyne Sorry I missed this

        I think that going to the E wouldn't be a bad idea, especially if you are worried about the width in any way ie. if you find your Lofgrens are 'snug' in width.

        However, if you've never struggled with width in any way and your Lofgrens feel nice and roomy in a D width then you may be better off sticking with a D in Wesco as well

        You can always shoot me an email or DM if you want to get into the nitty-gritty on sizing

          I'd say going E instead of D in Lou's is needed. I'm usually 9D in all my shoes, like Wesco Bosses, and I took 9E in Lou's and they fit like other shoes/boots 9D. Just my experience (I have 2 pair of Lou's)

              @Ross Thank you for updated photos. They look great. Looks very close to british tan from the photos. I guess british tan is like a head start on natural veg tan.

                        Hey everyone x

                        Would these need Obenauf’s Water Shield when they’re brand new, as I get a lot of rain where I live.
                        If so, would you recommend applying two or four coats?

                        I’m assuming there’s no need to use Obenauf’s Leather Oil or Heavy Duty LP at this stage — perhaps after a while, around six months of wear?

                            Hi mate

                            I think two coats at first should be just fine, then apply a another two down the line.

                            And yes I personally wouldn't apply the leader oil yet, six to eight months is a good time to apply after you have worn the boots in for a bit, they can take a good beating !
