Man, if it’s true they’re re-releasing it, that’s great news! Having said that, I’m not sure I would want both that and the 293 personally. Way too close. With the 293, you get the original sulphur over dyeing with tarnished buttons. (Who knows how much longer iH will be doing this) You also get twill lined cuffs, collar stand, and side pockets. With the SexCpood, you get unlined, direct dyeing, more slub / texture, an additional ounce of fabric weight, and the charcoal “W” logo. You can’t go wrong either way imo. Get whichever one you can get your hands on and don’t look back. -

@Biecher a few retailers. Not sure where you're at physically. I'll grab mine from iron heart directly or Iron Shop Provisions. There's usually a post at the top with current run measurements as well as retailer lists within a day or so of the launch

Curious how are people sizing their CPOs… similar to UHF / denim shirt to just wear with t-shirt or larger to go over another layer?

@americanathreads the 293 has a deeper black to it even after several washes compared to an almost pre washed look on the self edge cpo. The SE fabric has that really cool slub texture to it, however the vintage 18oz fabric is really nostalgic for me of a jacket my dad wore in the 90s. The W on the collab shirt is a cool feature. It's hard to beat the deep black of the 293, however that is down to personal preference. Lastly, I noticed that the oxidation on buttons that get used the most on the 293 have almost completely rubbed off. Not an issue for me at all, but something others may want to know.
Sorry if this makes it more confusing. I guess it comes down to what you're looking for the most out of the shirt.

@natefreezy def go by the measurements.
but for myself, the only i other top i own is the discontinued IHSH 75 denim work shirt in XL which fits like a glove. I took a chance on XXL for the 293 because many have said to size up for the OD. glad i did because it also fits like a custom made shirt.
if you order from IH direct you can request for a bigger P2P or shoulder or longer sleeve or whatever and they'll do their best to accommodate.

@natefreezy I have just been wearing them over a t shirt, I get way too warm to later it, I wear cpo like a shirt with pockets haha. I wouldn't later over a cpo like I would with say a UHF though as they are a bit longer

@natefreezy I mostly wear mine over a t shirt. But I like to have enough room to wear a thermal too. The nice thing about the CPO cut is generally, if you take your normal tag size, they are cut slightly bigger to accommodate the over shirt style.
