From this Cardinal fan’s perspective…it’s like if Bob Gibson and Albert Pujols were the same player. But possibly better?
Bob Gibson is the closest comparison. Fanning 10 and hitting a HR in 1967 World Series Game 7. But he gave up 3 more runs and hit 2 fewer HR. Nothing comes close to what he did in the regular or postseason at least that I’m aware of.

@mclaincausey I actually didn’t know those stats about Gibson! I was just speaking more generally…Ohtani is better as a single player than the greatest hitter and pitcher in Cardinals history combined. It’s nuts…and fun to get to be a witness to it

LET’S GO, Blue Jays!!!
-
Jays to the World Series!!! LA will be darn near impossible to beat but I’ll enjoy while it lasts

Haven’t watched baseball in a long time but that 6th inning, I think, was incredible from the jays. Awesome win for the Blue jays last night.
-
What a ballgame!
-
@deanclean seriously
-
Is it over yet … lol
-
@Brandrea just ended haha. Damn, 18 innings is insane. Can’t say that I watched it all though.
-
@ZackB I woke up to our barking dog at 2am (est) and checked the score on my APP, couldn’t believe it was still going on …
I can’t wait to see Ohtani pitch tonight. Fingers crossed the Jays can bounce back.

Heartbreaker. Up until 3am and up for for work at 5am. I would be feeling no pain if Jays would have won! They had loads of chances to get it done. Great back and forth. Wild game.

Some game, can only imagine what the tension must have been like to be there. Great series so far.
