@Melquíades you could always ask the seller. It looks like someone took the leather patch off the jeans at some point in time and tried to sew it back on themselves. Poorly done…

Just the other day there was someone on here looking for a patch and it may/could have been the same person who sold you these jeans. It could have been they ruined the patch in a hot soak, didn’t like the patch and took it off, or something else.

Your best bet is to contact the seller and see if they know anything.

That patch has been sewn on (badly) by hand.

But apart from that they look legit.

No image of the belt loop sewn into waitband, so I can't comment on that.

@Giles thanks for chiming in! Always great to hear from you guys.

The 3rd image shows the right side and front-right side belt loops, both of which should be sewn in but are not. Thanks for looking!

We never used to sew the belt loops of the IH-634S (and some 634S derivatives) into the waist band. I am more intrigued by the one you is…

Just to confirm, we do reinforce the belt loop on the 634S — but as Giles has mentioned, this may not have always been the case on older models, so it's still not definitive proof of a fake. Screenshot 2025-10-15 at 15.41.20.png

When I started working with Haraki, none of jeans had the belt loops sewn into the waistband. I specified them on all jeans I initiated, but the IH-634S was obviously not one of them. It took a few years to transition to sewn in belt loops on the 634 cut.

This pair has only the back belt loop tucked under. I imagine Haraki did this because he wore a belt whilst on the bike (?)

No, the original IH-634S had none of the bely loops tucked into the waist band. So yours are some sort of anomaly....Hence me asking to see a photo. Yours have obviously had some "work" done to them (patch), so I wanted to see the loop....

First time posting! I have 18 oz jeans and was thinking about stepping up to 21 oz. Is it a major step up? Will I fell like the tin man? Thanks in advance.

Any idea when there might be a restock? I’ve lost a bunch of weight over the past year and it’s time for a new pair. My 888s don’t really fit me anymore and I think I’d like to try out a classic fit this time.

@dkowa The last restock was in May 2025 so it may be a while. Have you checked the other retailers to see if your size is in stock elsewhere?

Here is a link to the retailers that may have your size in stock: https://forum.ironheart.co.uk//post/121
