@Jett129 I’m fairly new to Negronis too and I love em, but after trying many variations I definitely prefer the OG with gin. I’ll stick to varying the vermouth and gin. I love mezcal but my tastebuds don’t like that combo.

@Mizmazzle I love Whistle Pig. Is that a special store pick,as the proof is a little bit higher. I had met one of the original owners/founders at Whiskeyfest when it first came out,and it was their hope that it would do for rye what Makers did for bourbon. Had to look this up but I thought there was some connection to Makers,and it was that Dave Pickerell who was the Master Distiller at Makers advised them after he had left Makers.

@WhiskeySandwich You definitely should get some of the Van Winkle barrel aged maple syrup when it goes on sale on Cyber Monday. They put it in sale on Black Friday,and then increase the discount on Cyber Monday,but you have to hope that they don’t sell out by then. I think we’ve talked about this before.

@Jett129 , the past 3 years, since first acquiring the 18 year, Knob Creek has become my traditional dram, over Thanksgiving weekend. I'll certainly be enjoying this along side the 12 and 18 year, this time around. So, you won't have to wait too long for that review.
