@drewfonse yeah buddy! They’re great in the heat, and def look good doin it. I do miss 21oz tho. On your point about shape/structure, they do hold well but my 14oz feel looser even though they aren’t, and I think the butt sags a little more with the thinner denim. I don’t see it as a problem though, just works with the weather. I think I said a while back that each pair I have has its own purpose or role in my collection, I love them all, but the 21oz has a specialness for me.

Oh no doubt, the 21oz is amazing. For me it’s the opposite with the butt, although the 21oz don’t sag, the thickness of the back pockets makes it look a little weird when I walk, they kind of slightly jut out to the side with each step. And they’re not too big. It doesn’t matter, I love my 21 too and look forward to wearing them a lot when it cools down

I am currently a 37” waist. Would I be better off grabbing the size 36 (waist measures 35.2) and hope I can get some good stretch or should I grab size 38 (waist measures 37.7). Understand these are twisted weft so I’m not sure how that affects stretch potential.

Personally that would be too much for me to go for. I try and get as close to my exact waist measurement if not a little more over and even then it feels somewhat restrictive and requires breaking in. It’s all great walking around and or standing but then I jump in the car or sit on a bench to watch my daughter play basketball and I realise that they still need a bit more to go.
I’m loving the 14oz jeans though. Just recieved my 4th pair recently and I’m a big fan, especially now Summer is on its way.

I’m a 37” waist and I got these in a 36 hoping it would stretch a bit. It’s super tight at first in the waist, everywhere else is great. They don’t seem to stretch too much, so either I slim down or size up. Although I do go with the 38 in the 666 and 555s as in those cuts the 36 is too small all around.

It’s weird though because I do have some older Iron Hearts in a 888OD and 305s? where the 36 fits great.

Just realized I’m no help lol.

@pjroo33 assuming you mean a 37.0" waist (measured on jeans, not on you), you want to target an actual waist of 37.0" on the new pair, so I would ask for a big 36 or a small 38. We can measure within the piles to see what variance there is.
