Mommy, why is that man cycling on an 84 degree day in those utterly fabulous Kevlar pants?
Oh sweetie, those are Iron Hearts. You wouldn’t understand. He’s a weirdo, don’t make eye contact…

Man, yeah, predictably awesome shirt. I debated small/medium, really glad I went small. Perfect. And heavier than I expected. Perfect for my climate. Love it!

5 cats here, and an inexplicable shot of a cart filled with CBD drinks. Enjoy!
The mom,June, is the tuxedo in the second pic. All of her babies look unique. All 4 of the younger ones were born on my bed 2 years ago.
We had 7 cats, but 2 of our old girls passed away in the last 6 months.
Wiley, the striped boy on the right in the first pic is a polydactyl or Hemingway cat, a total of 15 front toes. Rare, but found most commonly in the US Southeast, where I am.
Ok time to bump the thread with 2 unexciting photos of GOAT cut/denim combo. 80 degrees here today and still quite comfortable. This stuff is magic. Oh, and best chainstitch hemming in the industry.

This is probably my favorite IH piece so far. Amazing. I’ve only worn it twice, but it’s mind boggling how quickly it conforms to your body and develops ropey creases in the arms. I immediately started getting compliments at work from customers. One of them asked me if I had styled my hair differently because they liked it. Nope! Just magical shirt casting a spell!
I’m really glad a rogue size 30 reappeared in stock, and I jumped on it. My last new pair for quite some time. Nice rough texture with just a touch of coarseness and a hint of slub. They feel great and fit perfectly. Very different from the 142s or the 21s. Love em. I’ll wear to work tomorrow.

Just got my pair and they fit perfectly! As someone who owns several 888 cuts, including this denim, I love the higher rise and ample room in the lower block.
Def a wider lower block than I’m used to, but they feel great! And they have a classic more straight feel to them. Really awesome and different. I find them more comfortable than the same denim in the 888.

Noticeably more comfy now that they sit where I want them to haha
Just got a pair delivered, hemmed and sized to perfection (I think) by IHUK. I can see what the muted fuss is all about. Fantastic. And so different from other IH denim. I’ll put them through their paces this summer…

I’m like this close to buying one.
Tell you what, as soon as I get my Blue Monster Denimio/SDA collab delivered I’ll take a nice fat zoomed in photo of the “made in Japan” part . Cmon now….
Wearing my almost new pair right now, such a great pair of jeans. Great fit on yours.
Yeah haha it’s an expensive transition for me but I need comfort.

Man I really love these jeans. I struggled with a few different pairs of the 888 cut in different weights size 30 that ultimately got a little too tight even with just occasional cold wash/hang dry and no body changes on my part. Sized up to a 31 in this and they feel great. Room to tuck in a t shirt but not baggy at all. Did the same with the 18oz and just ordered the 17oz natural indigo.
And I think my days of struggling to wear heavyweight denim in my warm/hot climate are done. 14/17/18 max. Even the 14oz is tough as nails compared to other brands.
Just ordered a pair in a 31. I’ve come to the realization that I’m simply not a 30 in the 888 haha
Im seriously thinking about picking up a pair of these from self edge, online. The thing that is giving me pause is the sizing.
I have a number of 888 pairs, including the 142s. This fit generally does well for me, but I’ve always wished that the front rise on it was even higher. I’ve worn a size 30 but have recently bought a few pairs in 31 and find them a bit more comfortable for me.
I bought a 1955 21oz when they released in a size 30 and they were just a little too big for me in general. Part of it was the cut, part of it was that I might have been able to size down because they sit so high. I can tolerate a tighter waist in a high rise Jean.
For reference, I recently bought a STF The Flat Head 3004, similar cut to the 1955, which after shrinking has about a 12” rise and inch smaller waist than most of my other denim. And they are extremely comfortable.
Do you guys think I might be able to pull off a 29 in this? I know it’s an impossible to answer question, and I know that this material doesn’t stretch as much as the 21 oz flagship does. I may order but not have them hem so I can return if necessary.
For clarity, I’m considering sizing down to make some of the other dimensions beyond the waist just a tad smaller than what I experienced with the 1955 21oz. I realize the dimensions aren’t exactly the same.
Thanks!
Sounds great! I just sold a few pairs of ill fitting jeans which just about cover this, so I’m getting my ducks in a row
I’m like this close to buying one.
Unreal, man. The GOAT denim just got GOAT-ier
