IHSH-423-IVO - 13oz Oxford Cloth Work Overshirt - Ivory
-
@Aussie-Ben the camel would be my pick if I didn't already have so much similar-ish duck.
-
@CosmoSix5 I reckon maybe camel too. Love the look of the ivory but im thinking I’d struggle to keep it clean, with living a rural lifestyle and all.
Thats why black is my preferred colour
-
@Aussie-Ben I'll say from experience, off white/ivory is much easier to keep looking nice than straight white.
-
@SamD you buttoning up the khaki ws over the hoodie and the look on your face made my day!

Thanks for taking one for the team
-
@CosmoSix5 reckon you are right there. I’ll try and get an Ivory then.
I’m also hanging out for the 17oz untucked duck CPO too, so there’s probably no point in getting 2 shirts with a similar colour. -
Just seen in the flesh today and it looks awesome. Much better than in the pictures and those buttons! Don’t pass up on this one!

@ShopatIronHeart I have a specific question for this shirt/cut so I'll try to be as specific in turn. I don't want to skip this unless I really have to. Thanks!
A 27.1-6" is my ideal Western/work sleeve length. Is the cut of this shirt different enough that I could wear an XL(the biggest chest I can use) and have a 25.8 sleeve? I'm not interested in uncuffing/folding. -
Hey @CosmoSix5, we can always measure the item when you place the order to find you the most suitable sleeve length of 25.8". There can be some variations when it comes to shirts, so it's not out of the question at all.
-
@JamesB I wasn't specific enough lol. 25.8 imo would be to short. I'll reach out tomorrow to you all in the chat on IH;com
Thanks
-
@CosmoSix5 I’ve found that the western cuts have a narrower shoulder measurement which, for my build, shortens the sleeve length. This over shirt shows a wider shoulder which will push the edge of the shoulders out just enough to cover the shorter sleeve length. Hope this helps.

Honestly thought these would have flown out the door. Stoked to have grabbed one. That’s 1 out of 4 crossed off the list of this years winter release.
Found the t-shirt sizes a bit strange or would have added one too. Normally a 20 shoulder 24 chest. Couldn’t find a size that matched -
A bit too much in "oversize" territory for me, and I already bought the "off-white" Cotton/Lin during summer (try to keep some variety in color here), otherwise this could have been tempting.
-
@Slash yeah I down sized hoping it will do the trick as layering isn’t a common thing to do in my part of the world. Going away from shades of black is also being adventurous for me too. Who knows, it might just work out.

Oversized garments are great for layering on those days where temps fluctuate. Light Jacket for the morning, in a cold office, walk home after dinner, etc. In Canada, layers are essential as you can go from -10f (Walk outside during winter) to 70f (indoors/car) and back again numerous times throughout the day. Same could be said for when I lived in Florida where it was asphalt melting hot to AC controlled indoor temps where you thought you would freeze to death.
