@LewisStonehouse ...just so you know, that Lange's are notorious for service work if not worn every day. You will need to wear it daily to ensure that it stays perfectly lubricated...

@goosehd cheers Dennis it’s fresh back from a full movement restoration, new strap, dial, hands and crystal and a polish. I’ll keep it wound even if I don’t wear it every day (that’s what the sub is for)

@Giles the Patek 6196P is lovely, but I'd probably spend the money on the less pretty Zenith GFJ because it's got a resurrected observatory chronometer movement. Here it is on the platinum bracelet, which adds another $50K to the price tag.

@LewisStonehouse very good I got to try one on the other day for the first time. The model I had on was the one with date and power reserve and long story short it was wonderful. It felt substantial on the wrist and the perfect size in my opinion.
