You’re in the Disney Princess phase of parenting. Enjoy it. You’ll be here for a bit and it’s typically followed by the I’m cooler and smarter than you phase which will carry you into her adulthood.
Christmas and birthdays are pretty easy during tjenDismey Princess phase so you have that to look forward to.

@Matt Mate, tell me about it. All she wants to do is watch Frozen, Frozen 2, and the Frozen West End stage musical, on repeat, while wearing her blue Frozen dress. She sings the songs to herself as she falls asleep. She demands braids.
I got lucky and found an auction online for a full toddler-bedroom suite of Frozen stuff this week - she's got a bed, little table and stools, shelving, bedside table, etc, all coming, and all emblazoned with Anna, Elsa and Olaf, and all on the cheap. (Though the auction site really screws you on fees and delivery.) Hopefully she'll be delighted when we kick her out of the nursery to make way for Baby H II.

More practice required, but Little Miss H is contented (for now). Her low standards have got me through this morning.
-
@EdH thats a damn good start! Luckily her standards will only rise with your own improvement

This picture popped up in my memories today from eight years ago. At the time, my oldest daughter was absolutely obsessed with making slime. She made it nonstop, mixing, packaging, and even selling it at school until the school told us that if she didn’t stop, we might need to find her a new place to go.
Are kids still into slime these days?
Hard to believe my “slime entrepreneur” is now a senior in high school. She definitely doesn’t appreciate it when I text her old pictures like this.

@northsouthdenimguy That's awesome. And I think kids are still making slime - at least they had someone making bespoke slimes for kids around that age at some indoor play-place that we visited recently.

My babies started the new year of homeschool this week. Locked in over here baby. Full ocd level control over the curriculum, activities, the influences, the discipline….etc
Man It’s a lot … and mainly for her because I’m mostly busy working…. Thankfully, shes amazing.
Oh also there’s one on the way that’s not in pic but in womb. “Melody”

How do you guys deal with day nursery infections? I am really dreading autumn and winter ...
-
@RobeOfTheMagi you can’t and will be perpetually sick for the school year…

That's uplifting ...

As our son is starting his second winter of nursery and as a keen cyclist who likes to train I am dreading it...
