@68degreesorless it was incredible, a true cultural experience! Unfortunately it was a super slow game and Chunichi won 1-0, but the passion and interplay between the fans and teams was amazing to witness. Hard to beat 2 fresh Asahi draft beers for $10 USD!

                      Made the pilgrimage!

The Works Osaka is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by Motorcycle shops. Had a great time meeting Kenta and admiring his GAH and IH gems. Managed to score the new shop exclusive tee and patch!

Super cool pics dude ! I'm jealous i missed that tshirt exclusive when i've been there in July ! 😉
                      That bring great travel memories...

@SourPower how are you finding the hospitality and treatment as a tourist? I've heard Japanese attitudes towards tourism have changed a lot recently due to visitor misbehavior. Do you speak Japanese? It seems like maybe you're not having that issue would be great.

@jdwaid no negativity or issues thus far! I have definitely been practicing my Japanese and trying to interject some more advanced phrases when possible, people have shown noticeable excitement and appreciation towards the effort. We have also had some lovely conversations in English with our bartenders! I was telling my wife that’s one profession where you pick up English because of the fact that 99% of spirits and classic cocktails use the Latin Script.

basically, show respect, make an effort, and they will do the same to you 3 fold.

additionally, the further ive gotten off the beaten path in Japan, the 3 fold becomes more like 5.
