The Burial with Tommy Lee Jones and Jamie Foxx on Prime is very good

While camping in my hammock last week, neighbors in the next spot over had an inflatable screen and played The Princess Bride for their kids. It was awesome listening to the kids enjoy one of my favorite movies ever.

A very well done thriller to get you ready for October -
Superman was aggressively, shockingly terrible. Bought the damn thing because it was only a little more to do so and I figured after our screening Hattie could watch it, as she loves the old Reeve ones. We should have gone with Man of Steel. The script was absolute trash. We were unable to finish it. I can’t believe it has like an 83 Rotten Tomatoes.

@mclaincausey I’ve only seen the trailer up to now but I actually thought it was a fake trailer until my wife informed me that sadly, it was the real deal.

I’m glad people enjoyed F1 and that it’s done so well at the box office. But I’m also surprised, as it is so race focused and has quite a bit of inside baseball.
That said, as a race fan the big miss is that qualifying isn’t even referenced. It’s a big part of each race weekend.

I’m sappy so I gotta go with The Natural, a childhood favorite with a superb soundtrack by Randy Newman. Really loved a lot of his movies. Might put Sneakers next.
