IHSH-33-OD - 12oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black
-
@northsouthdenimguy it is a great shirt that goes with everything and fades in a very cool way. The 33od is the shirt I go for and know I will not look back
-
I’m afraid the 326 OD would fall by the wayside. Although it does seem like I’m subbing all of my work shirts for westerns these days… started off with the westerns thought I needed some work, but the westerns keep pulling me back.
-
@FlavourFade second that and the IB. They fit so much better than the indigo denim shirt/CPO equivalents
-
Ok ok enough is enough. I ordered it. Damn, you guys are tough.
-
@northsouthdenimguy Legend !!!

-
@northsouthdenimguy the force is strong with this one
-
I need very little if any encouragement

-
@northsouthdenimguy welcome to the club
-
Tried it on but didn’t take a pic, fit spot on. Looking forward to slightly cooler weather to start wearing

I’m a huge fan of IH overdyed indigo denim. I’ve got a work shirt, a type 3, an 18oz CPO and two pairs of jeans - all in the old school OD. I ordered this one this week. It will be interesting to compare the new OD to the old.
-
@SFMCfranky You and me both. I have a shirt ,jeans,and a Type 3 vest. All the OG.
-
This showed up yesterday and I have to say that, out of the box, this is one of the best fitting IH shirts I’ve ever had. Thanks to Shaun for sorting through the stock for me.
As for the difference in OD and stitching color: I’ve included a couple of photos with it next to a 326-OD that I bought over a year ago. I wouldn’t say the stitching is brighter on the new 33-OD. It’s just a little on the orange side while the 326 is more yellow. I think the new stitching actually looks better with the copper snaps.
The new OD is sweet too. You’d really have to see them physically next to one another to notice any difference at all. Even then, it’s pretty insignificant. Of course, the new one is a little stiffer. But I’m sure it will soften up just fine. I love this shirt!

@SFMCfranky looking spot on mate! Great catch

Two months later and finally the first wear, gotta say really loving it.
Did a hot soak on the arms and shoulders only and threw it in the dryer, seems to be my go to move on some of these shirts that are SP-large. tightens/shrinks them up just a bit.
