Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
I have been on the hunt for the perfect waist bag for ages and ever since I saw IHE-37-BLK I just can't stop thinking how a slightly smaller version would be absolute perfection.
The only reason I haven't bought it is because of it's size. I would prefer a smaller version. I wonder if anyone ever suggested this. Because IHE-37-BLK even though it's listed as a waist bag looks to me like it's more of an ''shoulder bag'' in terms of it's size. All about preferences I guess. -
@Northman I have that bag, and it works very well both ways… I don’t wear it as a waist bag, but it’s shape and form are tailored for it to sit comfortably and relatively unobtrusively on the hips.
I understand personal preference is alpha/omega, but if you haven’t been able to try one in person, you may be over-estimating its size.
-
@neph93 Thanks for your reply. I did actually start thinking that I could be over-estimating it's size. Being quite tall might also help. But you said it. Perhaps I'll wait and see if a local retailer picks up one of the whipcord ones that are coming out this fall.

Haraki only ever uses it as a shoulder bag....
Same.

@Danimal506 now on my list 'To Do'

@Steve Awesome! Can’t wait to see what y’all come up with

While we are on the IHE-37 topic in this thread…I think a motorcycle handlebar-attachable bag very similar to the 37 would be fantastic. Waterproof would be perfect but not indispensable. The Boss hopefully is receptive to another bikey use for IH gear.
-
@motojobobo , a denim tank bag would be a fantastic option, as well.
-
the leather equivalent is actually one of the most comfortable bag I've rode with. until you get to silly speeds over long distances, but hey, that's a different story..
-
Could Haraki produce a 21oz t-shirt material? Flathead made the 20oz one this year, and Wonderlooper has their triple heavyweight version which I believe is 17oz.
A t-shirt weight to match the 21 denim. The print on the shirt can be “Iron Heart 21 oz specialties”
-
Hmm. I don't see why in theory it would not be possible, but t-shirts are not one of our strengths, in so much as each tweak or update takes years to iterate. We are in the process of trying to fix a few other things on t-shirts already, so adding this into the mix before those are realised may be tough.
-
A dog treat pouch would be good. I find it difficult to get one that’s big enough, but not too big, for the daily walks. Usually can use jacket pockets to carry treats, but that’s not really practical in summer!
Gratuitous picture of Ziggy (and how many ‘Ziggy’s’ are there in the IH community?)

really? I love the 7.5oz'ers and I think many others do.
If I had any complaint, there's a kinda surprising amount of variation in body width for something i would have thought would be very repeatable on a machine that knits a tube. Probably my ignorance about this process.
What sort of things are you thinking could be improved? Maybe this is more of a random question related thread topic?

Also a big fan of the 7.5oz tee's... I own 3 and they're the only tee's I've been wearing this summer.
-
I have more than 20 of the 7.5oz tshirts. I love them all, though there are variations. The weight is perfect. But I can see why consistency is important.
@jordanscollected dude that is a hell of an awesome idea for 21oz tshirts. Love it.
