@worn2fade Judging by the look this jacket won't ever be snuggy on you no matter what. Even if you boil it for hours. It's simply not your size. Size down a size and it will fit you the way it should.
-
I’ve been waffling back and forth on this one, but now that you’ve posted more pics AND revealed that you live in Florida, sizing down would be the right call, imo.
But if you like oversized comfy fits and want to be sure to be able to layer with other thick clothes, you could just go for it.
-
mined a few pre/post fit shots. Maybe this can help? Ultimately though, these are from different batches, so take that into account.
@MassiveThighs (i think?)
This comment below is not directed at anyone in particular, but just a general statement on sizing jackets; it really boils down to how you feel in the jacket and how you intend to wear it. What looks good to someone may not feel good to you. What looks less good to someone here on an ultra niche nerdy denim forum probably will look just fine or amazing to anyone random, but who cares what they think anyway. You do you.

@pechelman dude! I was trying to find my before photo and couldn't. Thanks for making these!
-
@Nostradamion thanks man. In November it will be two years I’ve had it. Wore it every day for the first 10 months or so. Then kind of sporadically since then.
-
@pechelman Wow, thank you for the high-quality posts in this thread! Strong work, my friend.

hahaha no joke! With a T-Shirt it honestly doesn’t look all that different but I could definitely feel a little extra space.

@worn2fade nailed it dude!! Looks money. How do you feel about it?
It will shrink up a bit more too with a washing machine wash. -
@Mizmazzle I feel good with it. I wish the length was a tad shorter if I’m being honest but I think the only reason I feel that way is because when I sit it doesn’t lay flat against me, it’s so stiff still that I feel like it’s jumping off my body. Once it softens up I’m certain it’ll be just fine.
I think I’m going to avoid throwing it in the washer honestly. I’m still debating on that.
-
@worn2fade chuck it in the washer now. Ain’t gonna hurt it none. I bet that length will come in another 1/2”
-
@jpvisual yours definitely looks like a true to size kind of fit. I’m assuming you can’t squeeze a thick layer under that correct?
Looks spot on, I love it.
-
@Mizmazzle For me to chuck it in the washer I have to go to my brother's house to use his machine lol. Ima consider it to just get it out of the way lol.
-
@worn2fade I think you mentioned having a top loader? That’s what I have. Wash mine in that with no issues. Just be sure to give it a good soak in the tub first to get it fully saturated. Good 30-45 minutes soak.
