@Oaktavia Sounds good man, I just might take you up on that because I would appreciate for them to be as clean as possible which hand washing doesn’t always seem to achieve.
I feel like I usually prefer the soaking part to be done non-inside out, I don’t really believe soaking them inside out will uplift the dirt from the warp since the denim is heavy and tends to stay closed at the hem.
Do you personally believe soaking non-inside out does any harm?

@worn2fade I soak them inside out because flipping them inside out when they are soaking wet is a pain in the ass.

Here is my pair of UHR just shy of 150 wears. 50:50 with my pair of XHSib. These seem to be progressing at a faster rate. I love the cracked scarring on the combs and cuffs.

@freepickin I originally was going to go for two years straight. At this point I do not think that is necessary. Especially with the UHR. I knew it faded fast, but wow, this pair looks more faded than my regular XHS that has 100+ more wears. Plus, I have a pair of near mint Loombreakers I am super eager to wear. So I am thinking I will finish out 2025 wearing these and likely start with the LB in 2026. Might replace the UHR with those and keep wearing the XHSib. Not totally sure yet.

@Tago-Mago XHSib is the absolute best IMO. Nothing beats the complexity and beauty of that denim. Its just so incredible to fade at all stages.

@Oaktavia I envy your cuffs brother. It feels impossible for me to have solid cuffs on mine (Japanese.) Ima do it with my 888-XHS though from the get-go.

@worn2fade it just takes practice and trying to cuff and re cuffing it if it looks off. It can be a little frustrating. I find it easier to do when I am not wearing them compared to doing it while the jeans are on me. Took me a little while to realize that. It is also a lot easier to pull them on when they are cuffed compared to stacked.
