I think that both right hand and left hand twill get leg twist and from my understanding the twist follows the direction of the twill. I think it happens more on unsanforized fabric as it has not gone though the post skew process. The IH 19l jeans get left twist. Again I am not an expert just stating my understanding

the tracks go the other way on LHT as @yannis say. think about how the cotton is spun before it goes into the loom…and the layup of the twill.
