Back in Perth for the past couple weeks and finally finding some time to work on the ninja 250R that has been sitting around for about 3 years.
A new battery is definitely needed for starters. But the bike wouldn’t fire and idle without starting fluid. Pulled it apart and cleaned the carbs. Now after, the bike couldn't idle without the throttle being pinned. The moment the throttle came off, it would die.
I’m giving one last shot tomorrow with the new battery and see if it will idle. If not, I would have to get someone to work on it..

@motojobobo I bought an Insta360 and returned it. It was too complicated for me
Simple phone mount, set it and forget it.

Went for a ride this morning. It’s a beautiful day here in NorCal and the weather was perfect in the AM.

Shit happened last sunday. Blew out rear tire at around 100km/h. Lucky to be in one piece, I was able to keep the bike upright and luckily there wasn't incoming traffic just at that time. Took me several hundred meters to tame the bike which was swerving from lane to lane...

I think my Stator died. Jumped it the night before and died twice on the way to the shop. Out of commission for a bit
At least I got to check out some cool bikes.

Went and tested some bikes today, went in thinking I might buy a 10 year old Street Glide or Heritage, and now think I might be in love with a Fat Bob...Now trying to see if I can stretch the budget, sigh. Any of you ever had one?

I rode out to Tomales this morning to meet up with the Club, then we rode rode up to Guerneville for lunch. After lunch, most of the club headed north through Cazadero. I decided to solo home. I was a bit warm in my leathers. So I headed west to Jenner and followed the coast and cooling fog south for as long as I could before finally heading east and back home. It was a sweet ride.

@motojobobo Needed a new Voltage regulator and replaced battery. Better then the Stator
