That is terrifying. Glad you are ok.

I think my Stator died. Jumped it the night before and died twice on the way to the shop. Out of commission for a bit
At least I got to check out some cool bikes.

Went and tested some bikes today, went in thinking I might buy a 10 year old Street Glide or Heritage, and now think I might be in love with a Fat Bob...Now trying to see if I can stretch the budget, sigh. Any of you ever had one?
-
@selbstzweck Had a Heritage,loved it,always wanted a Fat Bob.,

I rode out to Tomales this morning to meet up with the Club, then we rode rode up to Guerneville for lunch. After lunch, most of the club headed north through Cazadero. I decided to solo home. I was a bit warm in my leathers. So I headed west to Jenner and followed the coast and cooling fog south for as long as I could before finally heading east and back home. It was a sweet ride.

@SFMCfranky Oh man, I'm from SF originally, used to love doing that ride.

Back on the road

That was a quick fix @Denimhead-0 . What went wrong with the stator?
-
@motojobobo Needed a new Voltage regulator and replaced battery. Better then the Stator

Just out for a ride on my Honda DAX (if you know, you know).
Can I just get something off my chest.. whenever I’m on this little beauty other bikers hardly acknowledge or give the nod when passing. What’s the deal with that? It’s almost as bad as a Harley rider revving his engine at a red light. I find the worst are the GS riders for some reason? Do me a favour, if you’re one of these people, get off your high horse man. I’ve had a wide selection of bikes and this is by far the most fun on two wheels. I’m not a beginner rider and my other ride is a Kawasaki H2 SX (300km/hr) but guess what.. when I’m on that I still let on to any other riders.
Rant over! Ride safe and cheers!

@Oilfieldtrash two wheels is two wheels and assholes will be assholes. Enjoy the ride

@Oilfieldtrash In Canada there is a version of that bike called the Monkey...I have looked at them numerous times. If I lived in a more urban area ownership would be a no brainer.
