The Great Outdoors - Hiking and so on…
-
@Mizmazzle love all this man. You’re gonna have some proper fucking wear on those 822’s regardless of when you decide to wash (is the campfire smoke the kicker?) That hail is incredible…how’d the tent feel with that coming down?
Edit to say bummer about Morgan’s 4-runner
-
@SKT it was intense how hard the hail was pounding that test. It came down so fast we took off running from the campfire to the tent and just dove in!! Haha.
Lotta smoke, mud, tree sap, sweat etc etc in those 822s at the moment. Taking them on another backpack trip next week…then I’ll wash em before the UK trip!
-
@Mizmazzle That’s a right proper adventure you had there. Thanks for taking us along with the pictures. Great to hear you’re loving your boots and re-sole. Nothing beats a pair of perfectly dialed in boots when hiking. Looking forward to your next trip!

Very nice day at Wilcox Pass in Jasper yesterday
-
Also Sulphur Skyline also in Jasper day before last
-
And some (sit down) supping at Pyramid Lake today
-
For Hattie’s first camping trip we wheeled up to 10,000 feet and found a site with an unobstructed vista including My Blue Sky (nee Evans)
And @Madame-Buttonfly might appreciate the wildflowers there.

Spent the week on a lake in Michigan.
By the end of the week my 7-year old could dock the boat on his own.
-
Spent some time in Jackson Hole last week, and was able to get in a hike at Grand Teton. Didn't see any moose or bears, but still had many beautiful views.
-
@SKT It's a high recommend...we had a ton of fun out there. Hope you all can make it out soon!
-
@Brodie That area is beautiful! What a great hike. I’ve only driven through there, but boy is it a sight.
-
@Danimal506 It really is. As you said, the drive in was amazing, but being able to get out on the trail was a whole new level of appreciation.
-
@Brodie Killer man! I gotta get back there. Enjoy it!

A litle bit a the edge of Belgium and Germany.
We call it Hohes Venn. This is the outside of a long inactive Vulcan..
Inside is one of the oldest in some extent intact high moorlands around.
More to come.
