The Outlet & Project RE:LOVE Drops
-
-
White overalls secured. Woohoo!
-
@Go-For-Chill That was one of them I didn't see lasting very long. Great grab!!
-
Funny enough; I nabbed a pair of 805s off relove a couple months back, and both pair were already hemmed for my super short legs. Shoutout to whoever has my exact measurements and keeps returning clothes. Keep it up!
-
@JamesB I'm assuming these will be on a future drop; not today's?
-
@Go-For-Chill Thats right, just a little teaser for the future releases
-
-
Do unhemmed jeans/trousers ever find their way to re:love?
-
It doesn't seem so does it
-
@long_john86 yes, absolutely, but we hem all jeans for model shots and those always end up RELOVED. Also, on the balance of averages, far more likely we are sent back jeans that were hemmed than otherwise based on the average height of our customer
-
I'm sort of the opposite of @Go-For-Chill - most of the things with my waist could be worn as shorts
This drop had only two or three things in my waist size...
The next one looks intriguing, @JamesB ! -
@tody For all the drawbacks of being dead-average height with short legs, I take every benefit I can find!

Forgive me if I missed something about Re-Love but near full price for secondhand items? What’s the difference between me these and those sold on FB, forum etc and why when seller gets a small amount?
-
Because IH is a business with a profit margin, employees who process the submissions, overhead etc, not a person on FB or eBay just selling their stuff. I’m sure of IH was just doing this out of the kindness of their hearts with no interest making money the costs would be cheaper. But then there would be no Iron Heart because the crew can’t feed their families with kindness.

@Gavin666 I'm definitely no expert and I've thought the same as you. From what I've seen in my few years on Grailed and other resell sites. IH jeans, for the most part, re-sell for $200-$250. Sometimes for more, sometimes for less. After reading the IH Re:Loved web page "If the piece still has wear left in it, we’ll put it through our 5-point repair process — cleaning, restoring, reinforcing and making it ready for someone new." I personally don't feel the Re:Loved price is too much. I brought my 5 year old pair of 888s in for repair at Self Edge and paid $70 for 3 spots to be fixed. One should take into consideration that Iron Heart is repairing the denim before listing them on Reloved so repair cost could be factored into the price. They also have a bunch of costs associated with running a business and projects like Re:Loved, take manpower. Just my thoughts man. I'm an IH crack head so I'll defend my unnecessary clothe purchases till I die. Cheers

@Matt I understand that side, just not why someone wouldn't sell on forum, eBay etc and get much more themselves.
