Team Bib, is this a catch or release back to the good IH folks? I need some advice. I took a gamble with a 30, hoping for a slightly more fitted look. I don't intend on layering underneath. Due to my long torso, I have maxed out the straps. 5'10" and 165 lbs. Can I pull off or send back. Thoughts?

@derek111 I think mobility is key with bibs, they are a workwear piece and you should definitely be able to comfortably touch your toes. If they feel too tight, I think you should size up. The straps seem short. I am a tag 38 in 90% of IH pants and went with a tag 38 in the 805 and they fit perfectly.

@derek111 damn man, I’d send them back. I’m 5’10 and a half and have way more room than that on the straps. I must just have a shorter torso than you.

@Alex i remember some talk a while back about making some changes to the strap length or design…is that still a possibility in the future?

@SKT There was, after I posted pictures of my disaster with the brown duck 806. Got a black 806 subsequently, the straps were much longer.
I am not sure if and how the strap length is specified for production. Let's make a separate thread where everyone can post his model, tag size and strap length. I can start that later today.

@tody dude. Full transparency, I had a good gut laugh at your expense off those camel toe duck bib picks. It was also total confirmation without having met you, that you are a fun hang being able to laugh at yourself like that and share w the rest of us. Cheers.

I don’t think that needs it’s own thread. Since this is a general bib thread cant it just go here?

Unnecessary or overly specific threads when a related thread already exists are a pet peeve.

I don’t need to see a whole thread about how the 33 you bought on Grailed fits in the shoulders.

@NickD in general I like a 33 hem with a double cuff, I will measure what that equates to later today. But for example, these are my 1955's hemmed to 33" with a Japanese cuff. They are sitting above my hips where they should. It shows how my proportions are a bit wonky.
