@lolnah I would say no. This is simply heavy woven Serge cotton, and not treated at all.

I didn't think it would be but was trying to find another reason I should get this.

@lolnah you should have enough reasons if you are considering it. It’s incredibly hefty and wearable. The cut is non-restrictive as it gets and the raglan sleeves make it just as wearable zipped or open.

This one you won’t regret buying.

@jordanscollected How did you size this compared to a UHF? I'm tall and slim but with a decent sized chest. So a XXL UHF fits well but XXL is to tight in the chest. did you size down one size from UFH?

                And thank you @Alex

@lolnah My UHF size is XL and I bought this jacket in a large. I could have squeezed into a medium but large fits great with no restrictions over my many size XL shirts.

Of course our body types are personal, but I think you will be safe to size down to XL. It's a boxy cut so if it's too big you may be unhappy, especially if you wear slim leg jeans.

Team, I emailed the team but wanted to ask here as well. I'm 6'1 with a 45" chest. I have a 15oz canvas CPO style shirt with 24" chest and bottom opening that fits well, I can layer a heavy hoodie.

I was certain I needed an XL with 25" chest, but I'm doubting myself due to the 21oz weight. I want to layer this, while not feeling too restrictive and not looking huge. Would the XXL be best? I weigh 10 lbs more than Courtney in the pics.

@crollee I aim for a 24 inch chest with my shirts and I’m usually XXL but do have a few XXXL as well. This serge windbreaker fits me perfect in an XL with room for a tee and a UHF. Pretty sure there’s a few pics of me wearing it with a shirt further back in this thread.

@DeeDee85 thanks! Still on the fence sizing-wise haha. I realize hot soak and dry is a dangerous game, but is it possible to shrink this fabric in the chest by .5" if the XXL is too big?

@crollee I think shrinking the serge fabric is possible as I’ve seen it mentioned in the 13oz shirt threads but I’m not too sure with this 21oz fabric

@crollee The product description states: Post construction, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.

                            • No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines

I really don’t think you can shrink it unless you are really aggressive in your approach.
