IHE-37-BLK - 21oz Denim Waist Bag - Superblack Non-Fade
-
@pechelman I chucked mine in the wash without a thought, and air dried it without any issues. It's now softer and floppier than before but the denim looks perfect.
-
@pechelman I never washed mine, sorry not to have some better info! I think I would handwash it on account of the leather trim as you mentioned, I know jeans can go in the wash at low to medium temp. without affecting the backpatch too much but whether the same goes for the leather trim on these bags or not I couldn't say.

Can we get a backpack like this? I don't want to get beat up for wearing a fanny pack.

Just got back from a trip to Netherlands and Croatia with this bag, loving using it on those big trips, carry chargers, medicines, key cards and passport in it, takes a beating and fits ALOT. Wish I had more pics, only have this half bag shot more focussed on the snacks from my brothers canal boat in Amsterdam

It’s a reasonable train of logic. Fanny packs are typically reserved for guys that are capable of beating up others, but are chill enough not to do so unless provoked and cornered. {ref. Joe Rogan.}

I love mine, it's a very handy size. It is never going around my waist, however, works well over my shoulder.

Yeah I really love the bag, I do wish there was a black version that was made with SBG but might just have to get the indigo one sometime

I would wear the scars and the bruises with pride......

Ok, finally. After all of my saying I need to do this, it happened today. Will take advantage of the nice warm sunny holiday/weekend to ensure it's can fully dry.
I tried to capture a before showing all the dirt on the surface. The side by side under the snap pocket really shows how ready this was to be cleaned. Did everything in a small bathroom sink. Soaked in clean warm water, brushed, soaked in dr bronners, brushed, and then rinsed a few times until I was satisfied. Now hanging to drip dry a bit. Will update after it fully dries.

@pechelman this type of update is rad, keep 'em coming!

Thanks @Oaktavia !
Minor update already. It started to dry and it wasn't looking clean at all. It went back in for another soak, soap, and scrub, this time with some oxyclean and actual laundry detergent. The water got even more brown than this. Keep in mind this was after 4 previous soaks...
I'm half wondering now if some of the dirt and grime might actually be a little bit of sun fading. I gave up though after another hour of two more soapy scrubbing soaks, two rinses, and it's now drying for real now outside.
