I have fond memories of riding in the bucket of tractors. Every spring after the fields were freshly plowed, we would need to pick stones off the field prior to the year’s plantings. The reason we would do this is so that the stones wouldn’t get caught in the combine heads and break machinery. After walking the fields all day in loose soil, any time where you weren’t walking was much needed.
Not saying it’s safe, nor smart, but sometimes it’s a necessity so that you can keep doing a back breaking job. Just my $.02.

Edit: why did I look this up...Colorado has 160 school days per year. Maryland has fecking 180. Feck me dude that kills.

@goosehd accurate. Man I hated my friend Matt's dad. We were always so desperate for cash he'd pay us $20 for the whole day picking up rocks lol. Not enough $$ in 1950 let alone 1990
