Just got turned on to this punk band from NJ called Chemical-X. Bunch of early 20 somethings playing jams that sound like they should be on a Fat Wreck or Punk-O-Rama comp from the 90's. Into it.

@Tago-Mago reminded me indirectly about Michel Petrucciani (don’t know much but my uncle’s always trying to get me into him). Anyway, this might be up your street.

Picked up albums from jazz collective, Resavoir. Posting for your Sunday brunch playlist.

@GraemeE That’s phenomenal, and I haven’t even finished the clip. He was a huge Buddy Rich fan even kind of looks like a young Buddy Rich in the clip. Supposedly had a Buddy Rich room in his house, and last but not least I have never heard the words train and shuffle used in a sentence before and I thank you for that!

Really enjoying the new album from these guys and other cuts they have released. This video is pretty interesting too.

@Jett129 what was it called, “Burning for Buddy” I think was a project Peart put together with a bunch of different drummers to celebrate Buddy Rich.
-
@mclaincausey This is the first I’m ever hearing of this,so I don’t know.
-
@Jett129 yeah they ended up making two of them. I had the CD for the first one. More about it here. It was a love letter to one of Peart’s heroes

Jack White was at a Rockies game and it reminded me I’d yet to listen to the third The Raconteurs album. Loved their first two. This song is a fun one

@Jett129 I’ve been following her on Instagram for a while. Such a great player.
