Iron Heart X Simmons Bilt Horsehide Western Shirt - The Pale Rider - Natural
-
@natefreezy there is very little value to what I’m showing here, but I took this picture just a second ago. These samples have been stapled to my fence for the last 15 months or so.
The leather on the right is the leather that will be used for the new Pale Riders. Never treated. It’s still rather spongy…as it was rather spongy new. Honestly, it hasn’t changed color much due to UV light like the old leather. I would say the new leather will age rather slowly and can handle one hell of a beating.
The middle leather, is the Mustang leather used on the new Simmons Bilt: Tailgunner collab. Crispy as heck at this point. But god I’ve been thinking about that jacket a lot.
-
@natefreezy a little lighter in colour, and much softer handfeel
-
Here are some wearing pictures, I don't think I've ever shown any here before (of the shirt in its worn-in state), only flat lays...
-
You are living your best life @matt_rost ! Love it!

Shit, just realised this could be happening soon?
Having back-tracked up, looks like ETA mid April? -
The PR, cloaked by RRL -
-
@indigostiff looking great, i’d be sweating bullets on the plane with all those layers!!!
-
Back at Duke!
-
According to my wear records, I've worn the shirt for 187 days over the past 10 months (minus the very hot summer months). The leather has noticeably softened again in the last four weeks.

Pale rider tea at church with RRL…

@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot When are you sending that to me for some 17MM Good Art snaps?
-
@Graham ha! Still cycling everyday with Winona at the moment, but that sounds like the perfect summer project, dude! Question will be how much bling???
-
Man, every time I see an update on this topic I’m thinking/hoping it will be an update on delivery. Instead, it’s just photos of how great everyone looks in these shirts and I’m not one of them!
-
@deanclean If you insist I can cheer you up with a photo of how not so great I look in this shirt, which is now slightly too small for me in the shoulders and p2p and had an unfortunate encounter with a black leather vest that left it zebra-fied
-
@deanclean that's the way of the road 'round these parts!
-
@Tobi let’s see it! I don’t think I’ve seen a bad photo yet.
-
@deanclean it was a bit large when I got it around 3 years ago. Inspired by some rash experiments posted by someone else on the forum I gave it a quick cold soak. This was tightening things up a bit. Over the last years I gained a bit of weight and spend too much time swimming and on the rowing machine (in other words I got fat)... The zebra thing happened when briefly wearing a black Ondura leather vest.
