@jpvisual High on Fire are one of my favourite metal bands.

I consider them to be a love child of Motorhead and Sabbath.

They should go down in history as one of the greats. However, I don't think their studio albums deliver what you get when you see them live, which is a sledgehammer to the face in the best possible way.

Coady Willis is beast and a great fit for the band. I can't imagine how many calories he burns per gig - he must carb load before a show.

This may be a good place to ask this random question: Anyone have a line on someone who's doing Black Flag bars patches? I mean, like, doing them well? Or someone who does custom patches and would do it? OR (and this is final or I swear) someone who does custom chainstitch and would chainstitch me some Blag Flag bars on my IH jean vest?

@Matt I have listened to this record quite a bit recently and I really enjoy listening to it. The spaced-out proggy parts are great in particular. The beginning of The Stargate Tablet II is giving me major Mass Effect vibes

Made my first shitty YouTube “music video”. Spared no expense, lol, recorded and edited with nothing but a GoPro on my bike and iPhone in my garage with my guitar and other toys. Nothing special, but I just wanted a place to put things. I’ll probably just post junk as kind of a journal of things that interest me. More for my kids than to get attention.
