@goosehd I don’t disagree but it has its uses. A lot of the problem is people unfamiliar with prompt engineering misuse GenAI and get bad results and then assume the tech is shit.

As far as I’m concerned, forum aside, we were better off before many of the computer and network oriented tech advances since the 90s.

GenAI is harvesting prompts and content to replace lots of jobs IMO.

I'm just hoping that I have 12-15 years left before AI replaces me and my livelihood...I spent approximately a week earlier this year shoring up our finances and preparing for retirement. If the Canadian dollar was stronger and inflation wasn't running rampantly, then retirement would be much sooner...

Brings up a point for all of you younger guys...start working on your retirement and investment plans looking for gaps in that planning. We found a pretty big one where our rainy day fund was sitting around not doing much. There are a lot of short term investments for money like that
