What is the better seller in UHF's (buffalo or ombre)?

Which is the best selling (quantity or in terms of how quickly it sold out) UHF of all time (or which is the most requested re release)? I know that last bit is subjective and more of a "if you guys are going to rerun a UHF from days gone by, which one would you like to do the most because of sales and popularity?"

How quickly something sells out is not a good measure. I we had 1 of each size, we'd sell out in nano seconds, but have no idea what real demand was. @alex will have the numbers of buffalo v ombre. but again, it is likely to be subjective because we won't know if we had stock of something whether we would have sold more.

I have been thinking that we should create a list of what we should run again, there are a load that would sell like crack if we rereleased.

@goosehd Obviously ombré is superior to buffalo by every conceivable metric. As a late adopter of IH I would love to see some of the old shirt designs make a return. I shall be compiling a list @Giles 😉

I got a little loopy towards the end there, sorry. A semi annual or annual phoenix program would be pretty cool though.

I was talking specifically about UHF's

Then definitely turquoise and grey. Maybe the 87. Obviously purple, buffalo or ombré. The Woody was very cool also.

                  I should buy a new UHF…

As I recall, the IHSH-237 and 238 were fast sellers; western and work versions released on the same day and were sold out within an hour.

I wonder what would happen if inventory and sales details were fed into ChatGPT and it was asked some questions about the most popular and lucrative releases…

@mclaincausey Personally I feel like all of AI can fucking go to hell...when 40% of the worlds population could possibly loose their jobs to this technology, then you have to question what the intended purpose is and who is pushing for it.

I know that they keep saying that people will adapt and more job opportunities will open up, but I feel like some of us older individuals won't be retrainable or ease into another career. I certainly don't want to start over again...

@goosehd I don’t disagree but it has its uses. A lot of the problem is people unfamiliar with prompt engineering misuse GenAI and get bad results and then assume the tech is shit.

As far as I’m concerned, forum aside, we were better off before many of the computer and network oriented tech advances since the 90s.

GenAI is harvesting prompts and content to replace lots of jobs IMO.

                                      Now get of MY lawn.

I'm just hoping that I have 12-15 years left before AI replaces me and my livelihood...I spent approximately a week earlier this year shoring up our finances and preparing for retirement. If the Canadian dollar was stronger and inflation wasn't running rampantly, then retirement would be much sooner...

Brings up a point for all of you younger guys...start working on your retirement and investment plans looking for gaps in that planning. We found a pretty big one where our rainy day fund was sitting around not doing much. There are a lot of short term investments for money like that 🙂
