I've been pulling for the teams without a Super Bowl win. It would've been nice to see Buffalo/Detroit. I'll be backing the Bills, now. They've been so close, so many times. With any luck, they'll do it this time. Though, every time they have had a shot, I'm always reminded of this scene from an episode of the X-Files...

I’m really looking forward to the games this weekend,and as much as I would like to see Washington win,I think The Eagles defense is going to offer them a much more formidable challenge than Detroits injury decimated defense did. I think if you commit to stopping Barkley,they’ll throw the football,if not he’s going to run all over you. Of course I want the Chiefs to win,but not with the help of crappy officiating.

I won’t even hate watch another Chiefs SB if they squeak by on a sus call. Hoping the Bills blow em out. If the Bills lose, I hope the Chiefs win like antiseptically cleanly. No football fan wants to even notice the refs. Fandom can distort perceptions of course but it just doesn’t seem like it should be satisfying to win like that either.
The NFC East showdown is going to be fun. I have a lot of loved ones who are Birds fans but I kinda want the upstarts to prevail. They have a good shot especially if Hurts’ knee is an issue. And if Hurts’ knee will continue to be an issue come the Super Bowl we may get a better game with the Commanders repping the NFC.

@mclaincausey I’m totally with you. It’s not satisfying for me to have them win like that, and everyone that knows that I’m a Chiefs fan has been giving it to me,and I just have to take it because they’re right. Hoping for an antiseptically clean game as well.

@Tago-Mago There’s also a video where Belichick is talking about the Super Bowl and the teams that just messed up on basic fundamentals and,went home, and have to live with that. I can’t say enough about how much I’ve enjoyed listening to him on various platforms this season. After 20 plus years of him giving one word answers to the media,who would’ve thought he’d be as successful on all these talk shows. I saw a clip recently on one of the shows of him running around during practice,spraying water on the footballs making them slippery and yelling at the players it’s gonnna rain on Sunday.

I don’t mean to keep going in on him, especially being so irrelevant w the Super Bowl upon us but @Jett129 love the love for coach man. living in Mass, we would see the other side of Bill on a lot of the local programming but always terse w the national media and forget about it in post game press’ (kind of made the locals love him all the more). You would get a few gems from him on some national pressers like the ,"I would not say that I'm the Mona Lisa Vito of the football world as she was in the car expertise area" so definitely refreshing seeing him open up on larger platforms after the Krafts cunted him out of town.
