It is most likely the drying that caused the shrinkage. @Alex and I are running some UK versus US washing machine/tumble dryer experiments. We are sure that US washing regime is harder on clothes than European, which is harder than Japanese. We decided to get some data.

For the people who have it....

Is the collar "tight" ? I personally like it tight, but on some pictures from "Model Rudi", it looks like a bit too stretched to my taste.
Does it stretch out with wearing and then back to normal with wash ?

I have the olive and the black, and neither collar is stretched out. I’ve had the black one for a couple years and wear it quite a bit. Neck is still good.

Originally ordered the Medium that was really nicely fitting but it could not have moved one mm with washing, so I did take the Large at the end, which I finally prefer. Much more room, more comfy, and still a nice look, in my opinion at least

About the collar, at the end it does not bother me, but it's definitely not tight-tight; design choice I guess, and again it looks good I think because the collar is really thick.

Edit: sorry for the not so good picture quality, should also clean that mirror
