Why is Detroit the underdog versus Philly though? They just won the most competitive division in NFL history. They’re on opposite ends of the SOS rankings and came out with a better record.

I guess that’s one way to look at it. Statistically though I don’t buy it. I’m just wondering if I’m missing something. I would guess the oddsmakers are on my side.I think it’s just east coast bias by your PA and NJ folks

I don't remember his name,but the guy who has correctly picked the Super Bowl contestants and winners,correctly,for the last 5 years has predicted,in September,that Chiefs would beat The Packers in this years Super Bowl. He picked The Chiefs last year,and based on how they'd been playing,I thought he's wrong that year. I think his streak stops here,on both accounts.

As far as I can see Detroit is the current favorite to win the Super Bowl. The mere fact that the Eagles have to win 3 games just to get to the Super Bowl,usually,has some impact on the odds.
