@Nocturama duuude that's awesome

Thanks guys. My brother lives in an area where they have re-introduced the Red Kite (not far from @ARNC) and they are regularly seen scanning the ground at low level looking for an easy meal…
-
@Nocturama they’re everywhere near me but they never come close enough for me to get a picture like that!
-
@Nocturama dude awesome shot

looking for an easy meal
Red Kites are predominantly scavengers, so looking for something that is already dead. Like our cat
-
See loads of Sloths, but they are always way way way at the top of the canopy.....
Going to call bullshit on that one as there is no way your fellow tourists are climbing to the top of the canopy. Now if you said loud, drunk, and obnoxious around the pool…

this is a house sparrow nest
If it is, it's a teenager.....

Speaking of bird's nests, we've had a little hummingbird right outside of our front door, and a few weeks ago her eggs hatched and we got to watch her babies grow up and fledge the nest. This is the day they learned how to fly, and they never came back. We think mom (we named her Josie) is back to lay another round of eggs because she started spending a lot of time in the nest again last week.

Josie keeps a very tidy home!

@mclaincausey I think hummingbird nests are bound with spider webs, so it's indeed very tidy!

Great post @seawolf !
