Luckily, P does not read this, so she won't have any idea what she is getting. It's her birthday in a week, I have already bought her some "how to park the fucking boat" lessons. She is great at just about everything on SAKURA, but lacks the confidence to do close-quarters manoeuvring. I love the challenge of close quarters stuff, so don't encourage her enough to take the helm, but know in my heart of hearts that she should do more. I also know that we'd "have words", if I was her teacher. Plus, we need someone doing ropes, and I can't do that and be next to her on the helm, so best a professional teaches her.

But, yesterday, I caught her struggling a bit with her 8x20 binoculars, so i found these at a snip on eBay....

My very kind and loving in-laws picked me up an IHE-19 black from IHUK for Christmas. Just had my first chance to take it out for a spin today and am loving it!

The key chain was mentioned around here when discussing the black ones given away at the HH part, I have no idea when this one was made.
The wrist band? No idea. And what is that brass thing?
