I would skip driving to LC or to anything advertised as parking for Durdledoor, having done this with all visiting American friends and family recently I can confirm it is full of arseholes (that’s normal English for grockles).

Assume you’ll be in a car @Tago-Mago - I would suggest taking the sandbanks ferry to Stuland rather than driving the quick way, check out the corfe castle area. Once you get further west, there’s a nice pub with great beach views in Seatown called the anchor inn. Lyme Regis/Beer and Branscome are all very nice slightly further along, Masons Arms in Branscombe is my favourite there. If you’re into walking, Dartmoor National Park is stunning too, and once you’re west of Exeter you can’t really go wrong unless you end up in Plymouth which is a bit of a hole

If you do make it to Lulworth Cove, may I recommend the Castle Inn in West Lulworth, a lovely little pub and West Lulworth, a short walk (north?) of LC is a beautiful little village / hamlet

Mrs E and I are planning a similar trip in September before coming to Foxtown: London - Bristol - Cornwall and back along the South coast. So, thanks and noted. Any more suggestions for Cornwall?

Thought about putting this in either or both of the Music and Instagram threads, but I figure it probably makes the most sense to put it under one roof here as a random announcement.

I've played in bands my whole adult life, but lately have been pivoting more towards pared down solo work. I recently started an Insta to corral my music stuff, plus a new Bandcamp to collect recordings as I work on them, both demos (as are on there right now) and any future stuff that's more fully produced.

And fyi, I have the demos currently on there as set to a high stream count per song until it asks you to pay, after which putting in $0 is totally fine with me.
