Ah, my bad then, I interpreted your post as if you needed a TTS 33" waist. In that case, yes, I don't think you can get that much stretch out of ripstop. Sorry (or: luck you I guess).

(Source: I have the IH-734 which is similar, but not the same)

On second thought: Not to give anyone any more hopes, but asking the crew for a bigger than 33" (tag size 32) or smaller than 35" (tag size 34) waist is always a possibility. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Or something like that.

I test drove the sample of these shorts in October during the 3 Peaks Challenge - climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours, I cannot speak highly enough of them for outdoor pursuits, super comfortable with an amazing range of movement to them, they kept me dry during a spillage on the minibus but being shorts, they weren’t a match for the sideways rain from hell that greeted us at Scaffell Pike 😆

Still haunts me that we had the flag the wrong way round! It was a quick photo before it turned into a parachute

@Crispy-Heron Not that ive noticed but I didnt need any stretch either, they fit perfectly initially and still do so I would say no, but didnt measure them in all honesty

@AdamC - thanks. The waist in the small appears a bit tight but the medium a bit too big. Hmm

                            Between a 34 and 36 here. I rock the 888’s in a 36 and can size down to a 35. I’m thinking just ask for a size 36 with a smaller waist?

@Johnnyutah247 The rise is not as high on these as it is on the 888. Get in touch with the crew before ordering, they will be able to help you out!

Finally got the chance to wear this shorts today.

The material is very light and comfortable! The cutting on this shorts also gives more “anllowance” and “flexible” at the thigh areas as compared to my IH-725-NAV West Point Shorts.

Lastly, the shorter inseams on these are perfect for my height (173cm) and there’s no need for hemming!

So glad i bought all 3 colours and a huge shoutout to Travis for reaching out to show me the measurements of the shorts prior to shipping them.

                                make peace, not war. <3
