I am so fucking sad about this. Luckily I got to see Shellac a couple times. First was when I was a freshman in college in Baltimore — saw them at the Copycat warehouse with Blond Redhead. @Matt were you at that one?

I wasn’t but I loved the Copycat building. I’ve actually never seen him live. I’ve seen plenty of his acolytes live though. He’ll be missed.

Just to be clear, my question regarding Drake and Mr. Lamar was meant figuratively. I know who they are. I really don't give a fuck, is all. I mean, who are they, really ? Their "beef" means absolutely zero, when compared to the rest of the world's ills. Big picture, they are part of the problem...

Don’t know much about Drake. Doubt I’d like his music and definitely seems like a creep and a shitty person.

I do like Kendrick Lamar though.

Anyone here mess with The Lemon Twigs? They just released their new album "A Dream Is All We Know". I'm obsessed with these guys, they are a blend of all my favorites - Big Star, Badfinger, Beatles, Beach Boys, Roy wood, etc... but with a totally fresh sound. Loving the new album, major late 60s sound.
